Tips For Positive Thinking

Positive thinking leads to greater success, more happiness, more joy, better relationships, better health and more fulfillment in life.

When you have a mind filled with positive thoughts life goes smoothly, and you feel more optimistic and confident.

Positive thinking spreads and is infectious. Positive thinking leads to more positive energy. People around you pick up on this positive energy, they get a positive feeling about you.


When you have a mind filled with positive thoughts, happiness, better health, and more success you attract more positive people into your life. This attracts even more positive situations and more positive people and so your positive thinking spreads very quickly and creates more and more positive situations.

To get results with positive thinking you have to have a positive attitude, you have to expect positive outcomes and you have to say positive things while doing positive things for people when ever you can.

Positive thinking is not about just saying a few positive things now and then or trying to tell yourself that everything will be okay - all you have to do is think positive. That’s not the way it works.

Instead, to get positive thinking to work you have to have an overall positive mental state. You can’t just think positive for a few moments at a time or once in a while and then let negative thinking, fears and thoughts of lack and uncertainty fill your mind. You have to continually work at developing and maintaining an overall positive mental state.

To develop this kind of positive thinking you have to be willing to change your thought process.

You have to be willing to change your attitude You have to change your beliefs.

You have to let go of a lot of negative thinking and negative perceptions.

If you’re willing to do that then you can create some real, positive changes in your life.

You’ll also be able to develop the kind of positive mental state that will lead to greater success, more joy, happiness and fulfillment.

Here are a few things you can do to develop the power of positive thinking:

  • Get rid of the negative thinking.
  • Remove negative thoughts as they come up.
  • Track what you’re thinking during the day and get rid of the negative thoughts.
  • Choose to say positive things during conversations. Avoid getting into negative conversations.
  • Develop positive self-talk. Tell yourself: “I can, I know how to, anything is possible, yes I can” When ever you’re on a break or not doing something important fill your mind with positive thoughts and positive words.
  • Look back at past positive events in your life and re-experience them again. Think of happy events and focus on the positive things in your life everyday.
  • When thinking about achieving a goal or a specific objective, fill your mind with thoughts of how you can succeed.
  • Keep a positive frame of mind, think about the end result and see it as successful.
  • Try to visualize a successful ending and always focus on making the right choices.
  • Avoid watching and reading the news - it’s too negative.
  • Read positive and inspiring books.
  • Take time out of your day to just have some fun, do something just for the fun of it - this brings more joy.
  • Surround yourself with positive people. If you’re negative now as you begin to think positive and be more positive you’ll attract more positive people into your life.
  • Exercise. Get physical. Take up sports. This gets the blood flowing and keeps the mind focused on doing something fun.
  • Everyday remove those negative thoughts and think positive as often as you can.
  • Always think of how situations will work out in your favor, believe that things will work out for you and they will.
  • Expect positive results and positive outcomes.

Things may not be working out right now but as you begin to practice and apply positive thinking you’ll start to see some real changes and things will start going your way.
